By creating an account, accessing, or using Odufa, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies referenced on our platform. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use Odufa.

1. About Odufa

Odufa is a smart wallet and bill payment platform designed to help users manage money, fund wallets, make payments, purchase airtime and data, pay utility bills, and access other supported digital financial services.

Odufa is not a bank. Where applicable, regulated financial services are provided through licensed banking, payment, or financial service partners. Odufa provides technology infrastructure and user-facing access to supported services.

2. Eligibility

To use Odufa, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where applicable.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Use the platform only for lawful and legitimate purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any user who does not meet our eligibility requirements or violates these Terms.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, you may be required to create an Odufa account. You agree to provide accurate information, including your name, phone number, email address, and any other information required for account setup, verification, compliance, or service delivery.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, PIN, OTPs, passwords, device access, and any other security details connected to your account.

You agree to notify Odufa immediately if you suspect unauthorized access, fraud, account compromise, or suspicious activity.

Odufa will not be liable for losses resulting from your failure to secure your account credentials, device, OTP, password, PIN, or other authentication details.

4. Identity Verification and KYC

To comply with applicable laws, regulations, security standards, fraud prevention requirements, and partner requirements, Odufa may request identity verification information from you. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Full name, Phone number, and Email address
  • Date of birth
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • National Identification Number (NIN)
  • Government-issued identification
  • Selfie or photo verification
  • Address or other compliance-related information

You agree that all information provided must be accurate and valid. Odufa reserves the right to suspend, limit, or close accounts where verification fails, information is false, or suspicious activity is detected.

5. Wallet Services

Odufa may provide wallet-related services that allow users to fund their wallets, view balances, make supported payments, and perform other permitted transactions.

Wallet balances, transaction limits, funding methods, withdrawal methods, and account tiers may be subject to verification level, regulatory requirements, partner limits, internal risk checks, and operational policies.

Odufa may place limits on your account, restrict transactions, reverse transactions, freeze wallet access, or request additional information where required for security, compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

6. Bill Payments and Digital Services

Odufa allows users to access supported bill payment and value-added services, including but not limited to: Airtime/Data purchase, Electricity bill payment, Cable TV subscription, and Wallet funding.

You are responsible for confirming all transaction details before submitting a request, including phone numbers, meter numbers, smartcard numbers, biller information, amount, and beneficiary details.

Once a transaction is processed successfully, it may not be reversible unless the biller, service provider, banking partner, or payment processor permits reversal.

7. Transaction Processing

Transactions on Odufa may be processed through third-party service providers, payment processors, banks, switches, billers, aggregators, or infrastructure partners. While we aim to process transactions promptly, completion may be affected by network/bank downtime, incorrect details, or compliance reviews.

Odufa is not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party providers, banks, billers, telecom operators, payment processors, or other external systems beyond our control.

8. Fees and Charges

Certain transactions may attract fees, service charges, convenience fees, partner fees, or applicable taxes. Where applicable, fees will be displayed before you confirm a transaction or reflected in the transaction details.

Odufa reserves the right to update its fees from time to time. Continued use of the Service after fee updates means you accept the revised charges.

9. Refunds and Reversals

A refund may be processed where a transaction fails and value was not delivered, a duplicate debit occurs, or a reversal is approved by the relevant provider.

Refund timelines may vary depending on the service provider, bank, payment processor, or biller involved.

Odufa may decline a refund request where a transaction was successfully processed using details provided by the user.

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Odufa for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activity, including money laundering, identity theft, cybercrime, or use of stolen payment details.

Odufa reserves the right to report suspicious or unlawful activity to relevant authorities, regulators, law enforcement agencies, banking partners, or compliance partners where required.

11. Account Restrictions & Termination

Odufa may restrict, suspend, freeze, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or if your account is suspected of fraud.

Where possible and legally permitted, we may notify you of the reason for restriction or suspension.

12. User Responsibilities

You agree to use Odufa only for lawful purposes, keep your login details confidential, and report unauthorized access immediately. You are responsible for all activities carried out through your account.
